Cancelled :(

The 4H show was cancelled last night due to the EHV-1 virus :( We were probably 15 minutes from loading Gent into the trailer when Stacie got the call. This virus is getting pretty serious. One Colorado horse that came to Ogden for a cutting competition last weekend had to be put down already. We all thought better safe than sorry, I'm actually kinda relieved. All our horses are very healthy, we take such good care of them, it would be so terrible if any of them got sick. SO, since mom already had a full cooler packed with dinner, she came down to Stacie's and we all had a picnic on the lawn. She packed stuff to make sandwiches (rolls, turkey, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, mustard, mayo), chips, fresh strawberries, all kinds of soda, water... you name it- she packed it. She always did this for Stacie and I for the 4H shows. She was a great horse show mom! Now she can be a great horse show grandma, he he :)
