Almost there...

Been working hard on James' room. It's almost finished! I made these really cool hanging blocks for his wall.

Sometimes I miss being a kid! I remember how fun it was to run thru the sprinklers with my friends, now I'm watching James do it. I loved listening to the giggles as they all ran thru the water, so much fun for a him, especially because all his girlfriends were there!

Miss Crafty...

This is as crafty as I get. I painted some airplanes to hang on the wall in the baby's room. I'm SO excited to decorate this room! I'm going to re-do James' room too, with a sports-ball theme. Will post more pics soon!

Let's Party

We celebrated Brad and Mom's birthday tonight (59 + 28 = 87). Yvonne made some delicious corn chowder, garlic bread, and (the best part) her evil 3 layer carrot cake! I just love having my mother in law in town, she makes us dinner almost every night :) She is one great cook! We invited Brandon & the kids over, along with Mandee and Clint & their girls. Brad pulled the hose out and got the kids all wet! Fun night!!

Playdate

One of my highschool friends, Nanci, invited a bunch of us girls up to her house for a playdate. We all have young kids under 2, so it's great to get them all together. Nanc has these two HUGE blow up toys, one is a bouncer and the other is a waterslide. James couldn't get enough of the bouncer. That was until another little boy kept pushing him down! I wanted to push him back, but he's only two AND his mother was standing right there. Poor James, I always feel bad when other kids do something mean to him :( I know it's life and it's not the last time it'll happen, but I just always want to protect him... Anyway, after that we had a lot of fun and it was nice to see the girls! Pool tomorrow, yay!!

American Idol

Thanks mom for taking us all out the American Idol concert! We had so much fun, it was crazy to see all 11 in person. We had great seats too. They put on one heck of a show!! My favorites: Lauren, Scotty, and James. I'll never forget this concert, one of the best in my book!

California!!

Just got back on Tuesday from a FUN week long vacation to California. The road trip started off with two nights in Vegas! Me, Brandon, Stacie, Bailie, Cambrie, Jack, and Mom all went. Vegas was fun, so dang HOT though! We got to see Dustin and his friends, which was nice because I haven't seen him a long time. Then it was off the Darrin and Kelly's house for a couple nights. I just love them, James and his cousin Halle got along really well. It was GREAT to see Aubrey and Dalin, they have grown so much! Brad flew in at the end of the week and we drove down to Carlsbad and spent a few nights with Jay and Jen. Seth turned 1 on the 4th, cute little guy, can't believe he's already 1!! Tyler is as funny as ever, he had us all cracking up :) We even had time to visit the Del Mar Fair, James had a blast riding the kiddie rides. It was such a fun trip, except for the part when I got the flu the last two days of vacation :( That was NO fun, but I'm feeling much better now and am glad to be home. Thanks to all my wonderful family, it was SO fun to visit all of you!!
